Who we are

What we do
We apply for recreational sea fishing licences for mainland Portugal on your behalf with DGRM (Direção-Geral de Recursos Naturais, Segurança e Serviços Marítimos), the issuing authority. We do not offer freshwater licences or licences for Madeira and the Azores. We are not DGRM and are not part of the Portuguese government. DGRM decides whether to issue a licence.
Prices and fees
You pay the official DGRM licence price, plus our service fee per order. If you choose urgent, DGRM charges an urgency fee equal to the licence price. All prices are in euros and shown before you pay.
Your information
You must give correct names and ID or passport numbers for every person on the order. Your licence must match the identification document you carry while fishing. Incorrect details can make a licence invalid.
Start dates
Standard licences can start 5 days after you order, urgent licences 3 days after. Same-day licences aren’t available through our service.
Cancellations and refunds
You can cancel for a full refund until we submit your application to DGRM. After that, DGRM fees can’t be refunded. If DGRM refuses your application, we refund the DGRM fees and our service fee.
Fishing rules
A licence lets you fish, but you are responsible for following Portuguese fishing rules, including protected areas, minimum sizes, catch limits and closed seasons.
Liability
We are responsible for submitting your application correctly and on time. We are not responsible for DGRM’s decisions or delays, or for fines caused by fishing against the rules.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States. This doesn’t affect any consumer rights you have in your country of residence.
